About Coravend
Coravend is an information site for people in Canada who play, or are thinking of playing, online games on a desktop computer. It explains how to choose a game, how to check whether a computer can run it, how in-game spending works, how to secure an account and what families should know. It also links to one game, and is paid when readers register through that link.
Who publishes this site
Coravend is published by:

The pages are written and maintained by the Dubelyne s.r.o. editorial team. We do not publish under individual names, and we do not present the site as the work of independent journalists, testers or experts.
How the site is funded
Coravend is funded by affiliate commission. At present there is one affiliate arrangement: when a reader follows our link to War Thunder, registers, activates the account and completes the game's tutorial, an affiliate network working for the game's publisher pays us a commission. We carry no display advertising, run no analytics and collect no personal information through the site. The affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement in full.
Editorial method
We would rather describe our method accurately than make it sound grander than it is.
What we cover
Product coverage on Coravend is limited to games we have a commercial relationship with. Today that is a single game. We do not claim to survey the market, rank games against each other or test them in a laboratory, and we do not publish ratings, scores or awards.
The general guides, on choosing a game, hardware, spending, account security, families and the vehicle combat genre, are not tied to any product. They would be on the site whether or not we had an affiliate arrangement, and they are written to be useful to readers who never click a paid link.
Where our facts come from
- Product facts come only from the description supplied with our affiliate arrangement. If that description does not say something, we say it is not stated, or we leave it out. We do not quote prices.
- Regulatory and safety information comes from public bodies and recognized organizations, and we link to the page that supports it: for example the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, Get Cyber Safe, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Competition Bureau, MediaSmarts, Cybertip.ca and the ESRB.
- How-to steps, such as finding your computer's specification, describe the built-in tools of common operating systems. Menus change between versions, so the operating system's own help is the final word.
How we decide the order of pages
Guides are arranged in the order a person would usually need them: choosing, checking hardware, understanding cost, securing an account, then specific questions for families and about one genre. The game profile comes last in that sequence because it is the least general. Commission plays no part in the order of pages or in which risks we describe.
What would change if the scope grows
If we enter further affiliate arrangements, each new product will get its own profile written to the same rule: product facts only from a stated source, gaps acknowledged, and the commercial relationship disclosed on the page. We will update this method statement and the affiliate disclosure at the same time.
What we do not do
- We do not publish testimonials, reader stories or quotes.
- We do not invent statistics, test results, badges or awards.
- We do not use countdowns, stock counters or other pressure to act.
- We do not present Coravend as an official, authorized or partner site of any game publisher.
- We do not collect personal information through forms, newsletters or tracking.
